I recently spent 3 nights in the King Room with Pool View at Manala. The room offered ample space, with double sinks in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. On my honeymoon, we were surprised with a bottle of wine, which made our stay even more special. The pool area was beautifully landscaped, providing a serene space to unwind after a day at the beach. However, the ceiling was semi-open, allowing geckos and ants to come in, which was a bit unsettling. The bed had a noticeable hump in the middle, making it uncomfortable for sleeping. Location-wise, being at the end of the strip made accessing restaurants and shops a longer walk than expected. Overall, I appreciated the staff's kindness, but there were areas of the room that needed attention.

The pool area is beautifully landscaped.
During my stay, I noticed the plumbing in my room was not functioning well, especially with the toilet. It was quite frustrating, as it interrupted my comfort and relaxation. Additionally, the distance from the beach felt far, and the walk along the dirt road wasn't pleasant due to the fast-moving vehicles.

The beach is only a short walk away, allowing for relaxing walks along the beautiful three-kilometer stretch. We enjoyed fresh breakfasts and loved hanging out by the pool. Definitely consider renting ATVs to explore the local area too.
One downside was that the walk to nearby restaurants took longer than we anticipated, so plan accordingly.

comfortable room but some amenities lacked attention
The queen bungalow offered a nice big room with a spacious shower, making for a comfortable stay. I appreciated having a hair dryer and the self-serve tea with a kettle in the room. The private terrace with chairs, a table, and a hammock was a delightful spot to unwind, providing privacy along with a break from noise despite being close to the main street.
Some amenities, like the pool area, felt a bit below what I expected for such a nice property.

This place was an excellent fit for a brief hiatus in Playa Santa Teresa with reasonable value. The Brazilian beach bar nearby was a fantastic discovery for sunset drinks. Avoid walking on the dirt road at night as the vehicles drive fast and it can be unsafe.
